Can I write more than 70 words?

High level students who make very few mistakes can write 80 words without paying more. Please contact hello@biglanuages.com to find out if you qualify.

If your level is low and you make a lot of mistakes, we suggest you focus on improving your mistakes before writing longer texts.

If your level is low and you want to write more than 60 words, you have the option to pay more. For example, you could pay double and write 120 words. If you would like to do this, please email hello@biglanguages.com.

Why don’t you explain all mistakes?

If you pay for explanations you will see that not all mistakes have an explanation. These are the reasons:

• There was no specific reason why your English was wrong. It doesn’t relate to any rule or grammar point. Perhaps you just explained your idea in the wrong way.

• The grammar point is a very advanced one that doesn’t appear often and is difficult to explain in a simple way.

• It was just a spelling mistake.

Another native speaker disagrees with how my text was corrected.

There are many varieties of English and something that ‘sounds right’ to one native speaker may ‘sound wrong’ to another, especially if they come from a different country.

For students with a low level, the teacher aims to make their English correct and acceptable. Sometimes there is a more natural or colloquial way to say something but the teacher sometimes lets this pass if the text already contains a lot of mistakes.

It’s possible that the teacher missed a mistake (although this doesn’t usually happen).

Can I get a discount if I refer a friend?

Do you give English lessons?

The teacher who corrects your texts is not available for English lessons.

However, we recommend a great website called iTalki where you can find qualified English teachers and book lessons.

I paid but I had to stop answering questions. Can I start again?

Yes, if something happened in your life near the beginning of a subscription and it prevented you from answering questions, you can start again. Please email hello@biglanguages.com to request this.
